Friday Faves – foodiecrush

Hello again, and happy Friday!

Garlic Dill Pickles foodiecrush.com

As our final farewell celebration before heading back to college, my baby girl had one request: Make more of my homemade dill pickles to take back to school with her. With the farmers market in full bloom, her wish was my command. On one condition: She helped me. Of course, she agreed, and that was my wish granted. Showing her the canning ropes was fun, and the time we spent together was as usual, this mama’s favorite part. Time goes fast, so taking advantage of summer’s best produce and spending quality time with your besties is the best of the best.
