Friday Faves – foodiecrush

Hello again, and happy Friday!

Next week we’re hauling Smudge and her belongings back to school—they’re on the quarter system so college starts late and ends late. This year, she and her roomies are in an apartment so we’ve been collecting everything she’ll need for their kitchen because if I know one thing, having a well-stocked kitchen makes cooking a whole lot more appealing. We’ve done a great job of treasure hunting second-hand stores, Goodwill, and my favorite deal-finding Homegoods. But when it comes to knives and pans, I will not thrift but I also don’t want to spend much on free-spirited college students. That’s why I was delighted to find this budget-friendly set of quality kitchen knives and these skillets with the coolest lid that fits all three. I’m def going to keep these in mind for wedding presents too! Space-saving and easier on the purse strings are exactly what I’m talking about. I’m sure gonna miss my baby and her Korean soup-making obsession—it is SO delicious and I need to have her do the recipe before she leaves so I can share it with you. Until then I’ll keep making my burrata salad obsession and Facetime her when I get that Korean soup craving. Until then, let’s take a look a this week’s Friday Faves.

I’m not Mormon but I am a native Utahn and these shows are WAY more drama than any Utah neighborhood I know of. Maybe I just don’t get out enough :).
